As part of Patient Experience Week, the Spry team gave our members the opportunity to share in their own words what it’s like to be a member of Spry. We thank them for sharing their kind thoughts and appreciate the opportunity to be a partner on their personal health care journey.

As soon as I walked into Spry for the first time, I knew I needed to become a member. The staff was so welcoming, and the space has such as calm, inviting feel – polar opposite from a traditional doctor’s office. After I received my tour and met Dr. Lerner, I knew that it was really meant to be. I determined early that she was going to be patient and kind with me, but also to hold me accountable.

We scheduled my annual physical and I had no idea what to expect. Turns out, Dr. Lerner spent about 2 hours getting to know me, talking to me about my physical, emotional and mental health – MUCH MORE than I had ever experienced with a primary care physician. She gave me “homework” between visits and checks in with me occasionally. Knowing that she’s there for me and I can call her cell phone if and when I’m sick, is also so great. I’m very impressed with the convenience that the SPRY model has been able to bring to my busy work and family life.

Thank you, SPRY, and thank you, Dr. Lerner!
